About Deller Hats

Deller Hats began in 2004 when artist/designer/cyclist, Shaun Deller, began making a few custom bike caps for himself and friends. His idea was, and still is, to make a small line of hats with function, fashion, simplicity and sustainability in mind.

The hats were originally designed after a standard cycling cap pattern but these evolved over years of much wearing, riding and customer feedback, to become a refined line of caps suited to cycling in comfort in all seasons.

All of the hats are designed and sewn in Shaun's little trailer studio. All fabrics are salvaged from local thrift stores and washed using bio-degradable detergents.

Besides this, Shaun spends his time with his wife, Kirsten, living on a small homestead in Deer Island, Oregon, where they raise sheep, garden and live in a yurt. Check out his blog to see what he is up to lately.
